Mega Man Extra Damage
To do extra damage with the Cutman Blade or the Elecman Beam, pause the game as soon as a hit registers, then immediately unpause. This will result in multiple hits. By pressing Start or Select rapidly, you can do a huge amount of damage with a single shot.
Warning: This can work against you if you've been hit by Cutman or Elecman. Be careful.
Mega Man Bosses Made Easy
After defeating an end boss, MegaMan is rewarded with an ability (named after the defeated foe) that can be used to exploit another boss' weakness. Thus, the easiest way to beat each of the bosses is to fight them in a particular order.
Here's the best order:
- GUTSMAN - weakness pellet (MegaMan's standard ability).
- CUTSMAN - weakness rock toss
- ELECTRICMAN - weakness cutters
- ICEMAN - weakness electric blast
- FIREMAN - weakness ice blast
- BOMBMAN - weakness fireball
