Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Destroy AT-AT's on Foot
In the snowspeeder level if you get shot down, there is no need to board the bonus snowspeeder. This way is much quicker: You get Luke parallel with the AT-AT and push A and UP at the same time and Luke will automatically destroy it with his lightsaber.

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Tow Cables
When fighting the AT/AT's on planet Hoth, press B and SELECT at thesame time. This will arm you with three tow cables which can be fired at the AT/AT's thus disabling them. It is best to aim for the proximal aspect of the legs of the AT/AT's.

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Extra Life
On the first board, stay to the top. After you get to the first R2-D2 continue at the end of a tall hill with flames coming out of it, get ready.
Kill the guys that you see and then fall straight down and to the left. If you do this correctly, you will here part of the theme song and you will have an extra life. If you miss it you will fall to your demise. Careful, it takes practice!
